October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women. It is estimated that in 2015, 231,840 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that many women survive breast cancer if it is found and treated early. We can use this opportunity to spread the word about steps a woman can take to detect breast cancer in its early stages. Cure is possible!
*In order to allow faith-communities time to prepare health programming, ICPN will publish health resources one month in advance.
